    the diagam is beautful as a graphic, but it is almost impossible to understand what does it say. Can you add some explenation?

    it's an extended version of connectivity diagram, a tool frequently used in urban design to evaluate street patterns. it inverts the urban layout by exchanging linear connections with nodes and revealing hierarchies of the streets. it should be looked upon together with the diagram above. the objective of this drawing was to demonstrate lack of connectivity among different neighbourhoods of the area, which will be hopefully improved by the subsequent intervention.
